You can fly from Delhi to Leh in just 1h 20m (book well in advance as seats are limited and expensive), or embark on the legendary Manali-Leh highway drive — 479km of the world's most breathtaking mountain roads. The flight is quick but pricier than the road route; the road trip takes 2 days via Manali or 1 day via Srinagar-Kargil.
