Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are
VoyagerX (“VoyagerX”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) operates voyagerx.in, a flight comparison and AI-assisted travel planning service. We do not sell flight tickets directly. Final bookings, payments, refunds, and passenger servicing happen with airlines, online travel agencies, or other third-party partners.
Contact for privacy requests: privacy@voyagerx.in.
2. Information We Collect
- Travel search data: origin, destination, dates, trip type, travelers, budget, travel style, and destination preferences.
- Contact data: email address, consent source, optional route context, support messages, and preferences when you subscribe to fare alerts or contact us.
- AI planning inputs: answers to destination finder questions, itinerary prompts, dietary preferences, and trip notes you choose to provide.
- Technical data: device type, browser, approximate location inferred from IP, referral source, page interactions, diagnostics, cookies, and similar identifiers.
- Communications: support messages, feedback, email signups, and consent preferences.
3. How We Use Information
- Provide flight search, fare comparison, weather, destination guidance, AI itinerary, route deal alerts, and requested email subscriptions.
- Show relevant destination details such as temperature, rain risk, best time to visit, and travel style.
- Operate, debug, secure, and improve VoyagerX, including abuse prevention, analytics, and performance monitoring.
- Send service messages, requested emails, and product updates where permitted by law and your preferences.
- Measure affiliate performance and advertising effectiveness when you consent to advertising cookies where required.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
4. Legal Bases Where Required
Where laws such as the GDPR or UK GDPR apply, we process personal data based on one or more legal bases: performing a service you request, your consent, our legitimate interests in operating and improving VoyagerX, compliance with legal obligations, and protection against fraud or abuse.
5. Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising
We use essential cookies for site operation and may use analytics or advertising cookies, including Google services, to understand usage and support relevant content. Where consent is required, non-essential cookies are controlled through the cookie banner. You can accept, reject, or manage categories from that banner.
We do not sell personal information for money. Some advertising or analytics disclosures may be considered “sharing” or targeted advertising under certain privacy laws. You can opt out of advertising cookies through the cookie controls or by contacting us.
6. AI Features
Destination finder and itinerary tools may send your prompts and travel preferences to AI service providers so the requested response can be generated. Do not enter passports, payment details, medical details, passwords, or other highly sensitive information into AI prompts.
AI output is informational and may be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate. Always verify visas, safety rules, health requirements, prices, timings, and booking terms with official or partner sources before relying on them.
7. Third-Party Partners and Links
VoyagerX links to airlines, online travel agencies, affiliate networks, analytics providers, payment or booking partners, map/weather/data providers, email/service providers, and hosting infrastructure. When you leave VoyagerX, the third party’s privacy policy and terms govern their collection and use of data.
The processors actually in use today, and what each one receives:
- Hosting and delivery — Vercel. Serves every page and receives the request data any web server does, including IP address and user agent.
- Database and accounts — Supabase. Stores fare-alert subscriptions, saved trips and, where you sign in, your account record.
- Email — Resend. Sends fare-drop alerts, the weekly digest and confirmation mail. It receives the address you gave us.
- AI assistant — NVIDIA (NIM inference). Receives the text of the questions you type into the concierge or chat. Do not put anything private in them.
- Fare data — Travelpayouts. Receives route and date queries. It is a data provider, not a shop; it does not receive your identity.
- Affiliate tracking — Cuelinks. Records that a click left VoyagerX for a booking partner, so a commission can be attributed.
- Analytics — Google Analytics 4. Page views and interaction events. Its tag is present on the page from the start, but it runs with analytics storage denied until you consent: no analytics cookie is written and no page view is recorded before then.
- Advertising — Google AdSense. Its script is not requested at all until you consent to advertising cookies.
You can change or withdraw either choice at any time from the “Cookie preferences” button in the bottom-left corner of any page.
8. International Transfers
VoyagerX is available globally, and our providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as contractual protections, data processing agreements, or other lawful transfer mechanisms.
9. Retention
We keep personal information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy, including providing requested deal alerts, complying with law, resolving disputes, preventing abuse, and maintaining security. Search logs and diagnostics are generally kept for shorter periods unless needed for security, compliance, or service improvement.
10. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
- EU/EEA, UK, and similar regions: you may have rights under GDPR-style privacy laws and may contact your local supervisory authority.
- California and certain US states: you may request access, deletion, correction, portability, and opt out of certain sharing or targeted advertising.
- India: you may request access, correction, erasure, grievance handling, and withdrawal of consent where applicable under the Digital Personal Data Protection framework.
- Brazil, Canada, Australia, and other regions: comparable privacy rights may apply under local law.
To exercise rights, email privacy@voyagerx.in. We may need to verify your request before acting on it.
11. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No internet service can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so use VoyagerX responsibly and avoid sharing unnecessary sensitive data.
12. Children
VoyagerX is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate action.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as our services, partners, or legal obligations change. The latest version will be posted on this page with the updated date.
